Perspective

Image
This photograph was taken for my perspective assignment where we had to choose different objects and shoot from different angles and try and get a different perspective. For my subject I chose a pine cone and sat on the floor to get the camera to be the same eye level as the pine cone. I set my ISO to 400 and my shutter speed to 1/125 of a second while my aperture was at a 6.3. I like the angle of the photo as well as the detail in every curve and any specific feature the pine cone has. I cropped the photo a little bit so there can be more focus on the object. It leads you more into the center of the photo and I felt was more interesting than just having it right in the middle of my image.

Sneak Peek

This Photo was taken at Caumsett state park where I went to just walk on the trails and take photos. While walking on the trail I passed these horses and happened to be at the right spot at the right time. There was a perfect opening through these trees from where I was standing and  I walked closer to get a look. It was perfect the horse was right there, and I took the picture as fast as I could before the horse decided to move. This picture was used for one of my photo assignments where we had to play with our settings to get the right exposure. Get used to adjusting the shutter speed, ISO and aperture.

Decided to go to Robert Moses and walk on that trail which leads to the light house. On that trail along the sides there's long beach grass that are very high and looked cool even in the cloudy/windy weather. Even though it was cloudy and windy I felt it gave off a type of mood. My original idea was to take a picture of my friend walking on the trail while the kimono was flowing in the wind. That didn't work out to well so than she started to move the kimono manually.  As I got closer and sat down I focused on her arm which leads you more into the photo, I loved how the red color pops and her tattoo is clear. My photo at first was coming out under exposed and I was having trouble getting my settings to the correct setting but I am pleased with how the photo came out. 777

Wonder

To create this photograph I put Three medium sized mums in a triangle form to make it seem as if she were in a field of those flowers. I had told her to sit down as I climbed on a step stool and took the picture from a higher perspective. I chose this photograph because it's very deceiving and can be viewed in a few different ways. Some may think she's standing or walking through the flowers. It may also look as if she is surrounded by the yellow mums because those plants fill up the frame so nicely and give off that feel. This photograph also gives a feel as if she is moving or looking towards something only she can see, but we can choose what we want it to be.
